On Friday, November 1st, the entire school ended Book Month by celebrating writing.  A special event called the Authors' Tea was organized to allow every student the opportunity to share an original book they had written with friends and family members. Students from Pre-Kindergarten through high school read their books or excerpts from their novels to a small group of students from all grades.

After the Authors’ Tea, the students and parents enjoyed the yummy, creative masterpieces on display at the Edible BookFest!! Students loved the Hungry Caterpillar made of apple slices, the cheetah cake, the Frog Prince cake and all of the amazing treats brought by parents. What a fabulous way to finish a month of reading!
